Check out Kid Dream Coffee’s

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kid Dream Coffee.

Kid Dream Coffee, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today.
We got married a little over a year ago; right off the bat, we talked our dreams out loud of really wanting to start a coffee company. Both of us have worked in coffee for many years now doing all sorts of jobs in the industry- roaster, barista, manager, even marketing and social media. It’s been a dream in the works for both of us since we were young (like pre-teens). Kalvin has always been a natural entrepreneur, hustling any way he could find. He has always enjoyed what the coffee culture has offered-an outlet for him to nerd-out about all things coffee and to meet like-minded people he can nerd out with.

Abi got inspired in high school when her Dad told her at a booming cafe in central California, something along the lines of “I could see you owning a place like this one day”. It sparked into a dream and become more real when she decided leave college to pursue this idea further. Here we both are years later, with the same dream. We are a mobile coffee cart based on the North Shore of Boston. We want to bring the product of specialty coffee back to the basics. We want to start first and foremost with a genuine care for people and giving someone the space to be themselves. Good coffee should be assumed. Let’s do this.

We’d love to hear more about your mobile coffee bar. What do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your business?
Our cart is a fully operating coffee shop in the footprint of a 7-foot bar. We are capable of making the same drinks that you find in your favorite cafe but we could be standing in the first floor of your office building, your backyard wedding reception, or the middle of your favorite park.

We are creating the type of business that we would want in our own neighborhood. We want to create a place where you feel freedom to be yourself, find a friend, and think outside the lines. This is our philosophy, we just happen to be using our favorite beverage as the platform.

How can artists connect with other artists?
We think that coffee in our culture is communal by nature and we want to keep that in mind when we design other aspects of our business to be based around people.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
As of now, by nature, we are a mobile business. So, you tell us where to go!
