Maria, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
In 2001, after receiving my degree in Early Childhood Education and completing my first year as a preschool teacher, I decided to attend Catherine Hinds School of Esthetics to fulfill my interest and love for skincare. Although I truly enjoyed teaching, skincare has always been a passion of mine.
I continued to pursue my career as a teacher but had part-time jobs working evenings and weekends in salons and spas in Boston and north of Boston. I decided to resign as a teacher and start a family. Working part-time as an esthetician allowed me to care for my children as well as continue to practice my skills and stay ahead of the latest trends in the skincare industry.
In 2017, I fulfilled my lifelong dream to open my own skincare business, BellaSandra Skin Spa, which is proudly named after my daughters. After a successful first year, BellaSandra expanded from a sole proprietorship to a corporation offering services for mind and body. The vast array of services include Facial Treatments, Body Treatments, Cryoskincare, Hair Removal, Make Up for all occasions, Lash Lifts, Tints, Lash Extensions, Massage Services, Nail Services and Airbrush Tanning.
Given my experience and health conscience nature, I wanted my business to only offer high-quality organic products with proven results for my guests. Therefore, BellaSandra Skin Spa features Eminence Organic Skin Care products. We are committed to providing each guest with an unforgettable experience and excellent results.
