Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Warren.
Daniel, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I am a Hartford, Connecticut based photographer. My love for photography started from my work as a graphic designer. Currently I run the gambit of shooting a various amount of styles from the risqué to fashion to more of an urban look. I enjoying learning new things to present to the models I work with. I also am a firm believer in being body positive, so you will find that I shoot many body types as well as looks.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
As a photographer, my job is to show the beauty that gets hidden in the ugliness of today’s world. From the flower surrounded by garbage to the shy girl finally showing confidence. When you see my work, you get to see the curtain drawn back in order to revel the beauty of everything.
Artists face many challenges, but what do you feel is the most pressing among them?
I think the biggest challenge is the fact that we remove the rawness of an artist’s work because we as a society are uncomfortable with a lot of things. For those who truly understands the arts know that it is meant to be uncomfortable. That’s how all the great works spark emotion and change.
