Meet Isabella Fagone of Isabella Fagone Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabella Fagone.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Isabella. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I grew up in the small town of Swampscott and went to North Shore Technical High School (now Essex Tech) to study Graphic Design. From there, I started my photography education at Theia Studios in North Andover. I learn all the basic techniques of portrait photography, and from there I started my business!

I pretty much grew up with a camera in my hand. I knew from a young age this was what I was meant to do. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Facebook, word of mouth and a few special clients that have helped me and continue to help me get my name out there!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, it was never a smooth road. I basically jumped out into this field with no direction and by myself. I opened my business at 19 with no structure. There was no one to help guide me, or tell me the dos and don’ts of this industry. I noticed all of the well-known photographers that I looked up to and followed on social media wanted no part in helping out anyone they would consider “competition”.

My goal now that I’m fully in this is to help others start their business and be that mentor I never had.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Isabella Fagone Photography story. Tell us more about the business.
I’m a Portrait Photographer specializing in newborn, maternity and family photography.

I’m known for being extremely patient, gentle and working well with kids. I love my newborn session especially. I get to have my baby snuggles while capturing the pureness of this tiny human that just enter the world. Every pregnancy and newborn is different. I strive to capture everyone’s unique journey through my photos.

I think what sets me apart from others is my creativity and drive for my work. I don’t just take photos for a living. This is what I was meant to do on this earth. I take pride in every photo I capture.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I got lucky finding a career that I’m extremely passionate about. Not many people get to experience that in their lifetime.
