To briefly walk through the story of my life, would do it injustice. There are plenty of people that tried to keep me from going far in life, but I knew there was more than just being behind a desk, whilst my soul slowly eats away at me.
I’ve always craved to be social, and not only on Facebook. After working several years, as a telemarketer, and finishing many semesters. . I decided enough was enough. I needed a different direction. A friend of a friend and I ran into each other, in Brooklyn. Told about carpet cleaning, although simple minded at the time I reasoned” oh that’s alright”
Never did I expect 7 years would pass, and I would have taken the biggest risk of my life; starting out in Mass. with nothing more than a 2006 Kia Sedona and $1500 in cash. Fast forward 17 months and every day, I can’t help but smile. Not because I’m some big shot Millionaire, but rather it stems from the feeling that I now control my own life and path. I will keep building, till I can expand all over New England. Then I can be the big shot Millionaire.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Had it been a smooth road, then it wouldn’t be worth pursuing, and every one and their mother would do it. As far as struggles, sleeping in and out of Cheap Motels, and tight Airbnb’s for the first few months till I could even afford an apartment.
Companies tried to sue me, “claiming I would poach customers” something I have yet to resort too. But still I came out on top. Sometimes the little guy gets the win! Refunds, declined cards, and bounced checks are also a part of risk I take doing jobs for everyone.

My business is small. I deal with every customer myself from phone call to service. I don’t put people on notoriously long waits, I will always offer a free re-clean, if a customer isn’t 100% happy with the service. We only use Green products.
What I am proud of it not having to delve into the world of stealing keywords or brands recognition to boost my revenue.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
