Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Kalman.
Rachel, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I work with individuals who are looking for ways to be more comfortable in their skin, connect with who they are truly capable of being, and help them achieve and live their best life.
As I have come into my 20’s, I have embraced my own spirituality and I started to explore coaching and reiki. It has helped me to be more accepting of myself and I realized I had a gift to help others through the same practices.
So, I decided to create a business from my passion. It’s really amazing to watch my clients create the shifts in their life to stand anchored in who they are and thrive.
I believe it’s really important for people to be anchored in who they are, which is why my logo is an anchor. It represents one’s strength, resilience, courage and passion.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Creating a business from my passion has not been a smooth road. Starting a business in any area comes with challenges. But committing to my practice full-time has enormous rewards and watching my clients learn and grow is worth it.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Rachel Kalman Coaching and Reiki – what should we know?
My deepest desire is for people to recognize their gifts, beauty, talent and knowledge. I think people are much more capable and wiser than they may believe they are and my job is to get people to see that in themselves so they can step into their best life.
My clients are people who have questions of how far they can go. They might be going through a difficult time and feeling lost or maybe cruising through life feeling like there is something bigger out there. As a Self-Empowerment Coach, Reiki Practitioner and Energy Worker, I’m able to take a magnifying glass to what is going on in your life, show you where you’re holding yourself back and guide you to jumping over the hurdles to find the best path for you.
Reiki has recently received a lot of attention and has become more mainstream. In a nutshell, it is a Japanese healing technique that transfers universal energy through one person to another to promote physical, emotional, mental & spiritual healing. It can also increase awareness, insight, wisdom and personal growth. It is one of my favorite parts of my business because the possibilities of reiki healing are endless.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
With what I do, I am constantly learning and finding new techniques and practices. I believe having the mindset to be willing to learn is what allows me to continue to grow and create a bigger impact with my clients.
I have so many talented teachers and mentors that I rely on every day to keep this part of me alive. I’m extremely grateful for all of them as they continue to share their gifts with me so I can do the same for my clients.
