I started Above & Beyond Pet Services in 2012 because for me, pets have always been more than animals: they’re family. Above & Beyond Pet Services is a dog walking and pet sitting company for folks who feel the same way. Our goal is to provide five star, professional, trustworthy service so that you can confidently leave your pet(s) in our care. Our goal is to provide five star, professional, trustworthy service so that anyone can confidently leave their pet(s) in our care.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a great time starting and growing Above & Beyond Pet Services. The only real struggle is finding just the right employee with the mix of knowledge, compassion and personality.
Please tell us about Above & Beyond Pet Services.
We strive to make our clients’ experience as easy and convenient as possible. We won’t charge extra for the little things such as weekend visits, medication administration, etc. We offer flexibility in scheduling wherever we can; just let us know what you need and we will try to make it work. Finally, we use an online invoice and payment system so you don’t have to take time out of your day to find an ATM or your checkbook.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I think I was about 7 years old and found a lost cat in my neighborhood. He following me home and stayed with us for a few weeks, until my parents were able to find a permanent home for Tiger. He slept right on the pillow with me when he lived with us and would wake me up by putting his paw on my nose.
