Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Greenstein.
Stephanie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve always been a huge fan of fashion – and jewelry specifically – for as long as I can remember. I remember going into boutiques and shops across New England and seeing gemstone bracelets that I loved, but couldn’t afford. I decided I would make my own, which then quickly developed into friends, family members, coworkers, etc. want some, too. Fast forward a few years later and I’ve expanded into earrings, chokers, long necklaces and other accessories with the same goal – making fun, stylish jewelry that is affordable for everyone!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I’d say the biggest difficulty is turning this PASSION into a full-time gig – which isn’t necessarily my goal – but I’d love to be able to devote more time and effort into my ‘side hustle’. Working a full-time job, I usually devote the weekend and after work hours (and early mornings to catch sunlight for photoshoots!) to StephieChic. For now, it works and I accept that I only have 5-10 hours a week to devote, with the hopes that one day I’ll have more.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about StephieChic – what should we know?
StephieChic is a jewelry company that offers fun, stylish, on-trend jewelry at very affordable prices. It’s known for gemstone bracelets – but we’ve recently expanded into other pieces. I’m most proud of the jewelry design and vision I have when creating pieces because that’s really where the magic happens and fun things come together that sets us apart from other jewelry lines.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My family absolutely deserves credit – from my husband helping me string bracelets together to get ready for big weekend events, to my mom working booths for me, to my dad selling my jewelry in his store. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to take this passion outside of my living room – so for that – I’m so grateful!
