Today we’d like to introduce you to Shit Comics.
Shit, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I was a decent kid in school but was always doodling. I used to draw the teachers and show them to my friends. Drawing something compulsive that I have to do.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I draw comics that are driven by my humor. The jokes in the comics are mostly based on things that have happened to me but not always. I’m really just trying make my friends laugh. I’m happy when other people that I don’t know like them too. I’m heavily influenced by my cat.
How can artists connect with other artists?
Incorporate them into projects you have. I recently asked an artist on Instagram to design my bands album art. I asked another to create an animated music video for a song. Unknown artists especially get a kick out being asked or paid to do things they think are cool.
