Art & Life with Zoe West

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zoe West.

Zoe, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
My Journey in modeling started when I was 18 while working at a cigar store in Upstate NY. I was sort of floating around without much of a direction and open to possibilities. A photographer walked in and after a brief conversation he asked me if I would be interested in being a subject for his fine art photography. I agreed and my journey has lasted ten years and still going.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I am a full time traveling model. Boston is one of my many stops when I am touring the country, I am freelance so I am my own agent, driver, stylist and hair and makeup artist. I love to create with people, I believe that the collaborative effort between myself and the people I work with is therapeutic and a creative outlet that benefits everyone involved.

In your view, what is the biggest issue artists have to deal with?
Technology is a blessing and curse. I feel that many artists struggle with using social media as one of the only methods of really promoting their work. The time that could be spent going into creating is being spent on their phones
