Today we’d like to introduce you to Zubeda Khan.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have always dreamed of working in the beauty industry. Make-up, skincare – all of it just dew me in when I was younger. I was born and raised in the United Kingdom and have spent a lot of my youth traveling the world. Five yeas ago, I decided to finally pursue my passion of owning my own spa. I took the plunge and began working solo out of a single room basement. About three years ago, the single room was becoming a bit too crowded so I moved to where we are situated now. I have been fortunate enough to have a growing staff and clientele that we have expanded twice since our initial start. Our expansions have allowed us to integrate a fully working salon and with the original spa and we are looking to add in more services in the very near future.
Has it been a smooth road?
No road to success is ever smooth. Although we were fortunate to have very little obstacles, we still have a couple of bumps here and there. My advice to young women starting their journey, do not give up. If this is truly what you want to do, keep working for it. Keep striving for your dream. With hard work and perseverance, you can have anything you set your mind to.

I specialize in all types of waxing, primarily eyebrows. We as a salon/spa offer facials, massages, hair makeovers, nails, and make-up services. Alongside our services, my biggest achievement to date is the ability to make every client feel as if they are at home. I am proud to say we are committed to making every experience extraordinary through exceptional customer service.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts or other resources that you’ve benefited from using?
My favorite book series has to be the Harry Potter series.
