Today we’d like to introduce you to Samuel Ziergiebel.
Samuel, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My interest in solar power galvanized when I was doing a bike expedition through chilean patagonia, I realized staying at and visiting places that were completely off the grid that solar power could and should be used anywhere in the world. When I returned to the states I started to look for work in the solar industry. In a fortunate turn of events I ended up talking to Tim Sanborn, who started a solar power company in my hometown of Gloucester Massachusetts. Since starting with him and Cazeault Solar and Home, I have progressed to the General Manager, working to give the best product and client experience to hundreds of residential and light commercial clients in Massachusetts. We also work to expand the knowledge of solar, providing info seminars to local fire departments and schools.
Has it been a smooth road?
The main challenge is to change the image of solar. There have been a lot of solar companies out there that are not focused on quality and committed to respecting and complimenting the client’s home and investment.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Cazeault Solar and Home story. Tell us more about the business.
As the General Manager I try to keep all aspects of the business operating as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Primarily, I manage the design of the systems, manage the projects, and supervise the installations to ensure quality and that we are meeting and hopefully exceeding our customers’ expectations.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Solar is one of the largest growing industries today. We are pushing forward in a young, exciting, and ever-changing path.
