Solange, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started my journey in a voc tech school! I knew right away going into cosmetology that I LOVED doing bridal hair and makeup. I started my first wedding in Boston with a group of 10 ladies. The day was absolutely breath-taking. The joy in a brides eyes the day of her wedding is such a beautiful thing. That very day I knew this was something I wanted to specialize in! Since than I have been traveling all over MA, CT, NH, VT and RI! I strive to make the very best experience for the bride. Listening is the most important key. Listening to what the bride wants and dreams of! Communication, hard work, dedication and passion has all gotten me here today! I love every weekend that I am out working with a lovely group of ladies. I’m now the owner of Glamour Me Bridal & Beauty with a group of 6 lovely ladies by my side!
Has it been a smooth road?
I think with every career there is struggles but the struggles make us stronger and better. Key is to listen and to have excellent communication!

We are a team of 6 ladies! My team is full of energy, passion and skill! We travel all over NH, RI, MA, VT and CT onsite to where the bride and bridal party is getting ready. I also provide all hair services in our studio in Taunton. I’m so proud of the team I have. After all, a business needs a good team just as much as it needs a good owner. I think what sets us apart is our dedication to our passion. Our communication with the bride up until her wedding day. Our ability to accommodate any bridal party size and our skill to master the bride’s vision for her wedding day! I also think a major part of what sets us apart is that we are real. We are not just a person sitting on the other side of the screen when they inquiry for their day. We care about the small details!

Boston is a great spot for business! Any business is surely going to be successful here! I have many weddings in Boston! For a business just starting out just be aware of the parking and travel!
