Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Markarian.
Daniel, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My father a young Armenian immigrant came to this country in 1970. He worked for numerous auto shops as a painter and bodyman. In 1990, he decided to open his own business and Hi-tech Auto body was formed. I grew up in this business from a very young age, I would accompany my father to the shop and watch him in amazement as he honed his craft. After graduating High School, I came to work full time as the shop manager. In 2013 after many long years of hard work, my father decided to retire and pass the business on to me. It is my goal to take what i have learned from my father over the years and continue to provide the same service and attention to detail to all our customers.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
With every growing business there is ups and downs, with many competing auto shops in the area we had to evolve and stand out from the rest. My father decided to get into the used car business. During our last recession, my father would go to the auction and buy cars that were in accidents and deemed total losses from insurance companies. We would then rebuild the vehicles, and send them through the vigorous state inspection process. By selling the salvaged vehicle, it not only kept the cost of the vehicle down to the public, but it also kept a steady workflow for our shop.
Hi Tech Auto Body Inc – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
While Hi-Tech Auto Body specializes in high-end vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Porsche, VW, Audi, Toyota, and Honda. We repair cars of any make and model. By staying ahead of the industry’s constantly changing technology, we ensure our staff is fully trained in the latest repair processes.
We are known for our speed and commitment to a fast turnaround while still providing a quality service. For your convenience, my team and I provide free estimates for all non-insurance-related work. And if your car is in an accident. Rest assured that we will work closely with your insurance company to return your car to “showroom-ready” conditions.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment so far was when I landed a very large dealership account and I could see the proud look in my father’s eyes.
