Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Carter.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Lisa. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I spent 20+ years as a product and brand development specialist for top fortune 500 companies likes Timberland footwear and the Limited Corporation as well as Staples Inc. My love for consumer behavior and brand development inspires me to launch Drinkwater productions LLC in 2005. My goal was to bring exciting event concepts to promote tourism in the New England region. I quickly realized as an event marketing professional that digital marketing was key. Into 2012, I started offering digital marketing to my clients. Today Drinkwater marketing and productions offers brand, digital and event marketing to a host of clients in the New England region.
Has it been a smooth road?
There always challenges in running a business. Some of the biggest challenges I face are attracting new talent and getting business owners to understand that investing in marketing is essential. Many business owners feel that they should pull back from marketing when business is slow and budgets are tight. In fact, I would argue that, a slow period is the time that you do invest in marketing.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Drinkwater Marketing & Productions – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.

Our event marketing strategies create community engagement that also offers a point difference for clients.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Boston is a great city for our business. There is a huge tech community that is still experiencing growth. The outlining towns are also experiencing growth and expansion with new businesses entering every day. As a marketer, there are lots of American culture trends, Boston proper, Metro West, North Shore, Southern New Hampshire. We love the youth culture from the multitude of colleges and universities that reside here.
