Meet Sam Ike of Cityside Comedy/ Hideout Comedy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sam Ike.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I became a comedian because I wanted attention and couldn’t sing.

Has it been a smooth road?
Mostly it’s been great. Except when we have conspiracy theorist yelling midway. Usually, they get kicked out early but sometimes we listen because they have a point.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We specialize in stupidity. Occasionally we are clever and witty. But don’t get us confused with those other comedy shows. We have absolutely no standards or moral ground.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yeah, I think the city needs a laugh. Boston is a place of some of the most fascinating and intelligent minds of our generation. It’s time they got told off.
