Meet Peter Weber of Tresca in North End

Today we’d like to introduce you to Peter Weber.

Peter, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Tresca is located in the North End on Hanover St. along the main area of restaurants. Bruins Legend Ray Bourque opened Tresca 12 years ago to serve traditional southern Italian food in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Since July of 2016, Ray partnered with well-known chef Rich Ansara to bring a fresh look to the food offerings and upgraded the interior. Tresca is recognized as one of the premiere restaurants in the North End with a capacity of 120 seats catering to individuals as well as corporate gatherings.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The new team has brought many new ideas and developed a large following on social media. The restaurant business is always challenging to meet consumer demands for food and service.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Tresca – what should we know?
Owners Ray Bourque and Chef Rich Ansara make it a point to visit most of the tables throughout the dinner service. Tresca is known for its great food and service, its convenient locations, and the famous balcony table for two now known as Table #77 named after Ray’s number that is retired in the Boston Garden.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Tresca strives to provide great food and service at a fair price, and makes the dining experience comfortable and approachable.
