Meet Medley Long III of MedleySites in Beverly Farms

Today we’d like to introduce you to Medley Long III.

Medley, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
As a child I always told my mother that I wanted to be a “business man” not fully understanding what that meant other than wearing nice suits (to kindergarten) and taking the train into Boston.

I gained interest in business and non-profits at a young age, starting my first business at the age of 15. Since then I have bought, sold, and founded 6 companies and non-profit organizations. The Old Bike Shop, Front & Center Theatre, and Launch Cooperative are some of my entrepreneurial ventures.

On June 23, 2010, shortly after graduating from Beverly High School, I walked down Cabot Street to City Hall and pulled papers to open MedleySites (then MedleySites Web Design). Thereafter I was introduced to a like-minded local entrepreneur who opened his business at a young age as well. Jerry DiFazio, trusted counselor, mentor and owner of Daily Printing in Beverly Farms, provided professional and personal support to facilitate my success in growing my small business. In 2013, I was awarded the “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” award by the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce. Since then, MedleySites has evolved into more than just a web design company and into a full-service, award winning, digital marketing and design firm. Working with businesses and individuals to create and launch successful marketing solutions. Weather you need a custom online storefront, social media marketing and management, or just a simple business card design, we are here to help!

Has it been a smooth road?
MedleySites hasn’t faced any big obstacles over the years, but I would say the biggest struggle I have had to face since starting MedleySites happened during the early years, when I was just an 18-year-old kid trying to get professionals and other business owners to take me seriously.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with MedleySites – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
What sets us apart from others in our industry is our mission to “build business together”, meaning we want to create long-term relationships with our clients and grow alongside them. We are known for actively listening to every client to create a mutual connection because every client has unique needs, and uncovering their needs is critical for customer satisfaction. I am most proud of the distinct relationships we’ve built with each one of our clients over the years.
