Meet Mbiti Jean Pierre of BCb Moving in Malden

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mbiti Jean Pierre.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Mbiti. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I only realized what I wanted to accomplish after I became an independent contractor. I had to work tirelessly to generate my own income — even travel hours outside my base of operations just to keep up with bills, rent, etc. However, after a while, I pooled enough resources to establish a network. And from that came a group of dedicated individuals who truly take pride in their work. That last part is key because you need to do your job and do it well, in order to work for BCb.

After a few years of solidifying team of workers who I could trust to adapt and execute our system, I officially established BCb Moving in 2013.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I would love to say that it was a smooth road, but like many small businesses it was full of struggles. I had to put the business on hold multiple times and get a job in the service industry or as a courier, or even work with another moving company until I could get back on my feet.

It certainly was not easy but it has been fulfilling to see the fruits of all those trials, tribulations, sweat, and tears.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with BCb Moving – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
BCb provide specialty moving and moving labor services to our clients. It can be loading or unloading a truck, moving from one location to the other or within one’s own home.

We are built for small to medium size moves. I believe that is where we excel at because those were the jobs that was readily available to me when I first started. All of my movers are able to relocate a 2-bedroom apartment in record time.

We are known for doing the impossible, when the situation calls for it. Speed, and carefulness lends itself to high efficiency and that is where we thrive.

I love the fact that we can be all things to all people. Moving needs vary tremendously, and our size and way of management has always allowed us to be able to provide unload only, packing only, or a special rate for someone whose items can fit in a small van. I hope we can continue to

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I have a few exciting things in the works. I always wanted BCb to be a one-stop shop as it appertains to labor. By the end of the year, we will be launching a home care and design department, hopefully including light landscaping; as well as a special section dedicated to providing moving assistance to Massachusetts’ large college student demographic.

All I can say is, Stay Tuned!
