Meet Giggi Berube of Giggi’s Bridal and Mr. G’s Tuxedos in Metro West

Today we’d like to introduce you to Giggi Berube.

Giggi, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
As a former wedding event planning, I found enjoyment working with my brides. I discovered I had a gift in helping the brides create their dream day that revolved around the wedding dress. This series of events lead to fulfilling my own dream of becoming an owner of my own wedding and fashion bridal salon.

I am very excited that Giggis Bridal and Mr. G’s Tuxedos has not only benefited the bridal couple for the one stop shop for the groom and groomsmen but also it has given the opportunity for my same-sex couples to experience their special event together in one location.

Has it been a smooth road?
The only obstacle when we opened our business in 2009 was we were in the middle of a recession. It was only a very small and short obstacle because of all the support from the town’s residences and local businesses. Giggi’s Bridal and Mr. G’s Tuxedo were so blessed with all the customer referrals, we continued to grow on a yearly basis and surpassed the recession.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Giggi’s Bridal and Mr. G’s Tuxedos – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
The first thing that strikes you when you speak with Giggi Berube, Owner of Giggi’s Bridal & Mr. G’s Tuxedos, is her infectious energy and attention to detail. “We just finished customizing a gown for one of our beautiful brides. We added sleeves, and a scalloped edging to the neckline.

The alterations are stunning and just what the bride was looking for!” exclaims Giggi. That’s just one of the many examples of this famed bridal salon going out of its way to service its customers. Adds Giggi, “I want every bride to feel that same attention. It’s what sets us apart. In fact, I make sure I’m the one who hands your dress to you to take home.”

Boasting an elaborate collection of Bridal Gowns – featuring an astounding array for the full figured bride – Mother of the Bride and Bridesmaid Dresses, the vast space also houses an incredible selection of over 125 Tuxedo Styles, from Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Joseph Abboud, and many more. Giggi’s husband, stylist to the stars, Keith Berube, will make sure all the gentlemen in your Wedding Party look absolutely perfect!

After your wedding, Giggi says to ask about their Gown Preservation. Says Giggi, “Most times the Mother of the Bride will drop off the gown for preserving. It works out great and I get to hear all about your wedding and how beautiful you looked. It’s win-win!” Giggi tells us her customers travel from all over New England to visit her shop in Hudson, MA, a quick stone’s throw from Boston
