Meet Faleesha and Joseph Gaylord of Boston Rustic Wedding Rentals in Hopkinton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Faleesha and Joseph Gaylord.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Faleesha and Joseph. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Our story is quite simple. When we moved to Boston, we left the decor we loved back in the Country! When we started to look for rustic items for our own wedding day, we simply couldn’t find the quality we were looking for. We sought inspiration from others, and tapped into our own creativity and the day we tied the knot, we found that many others wanted exactly what we had created for ourselves. We are now inspiring others and work with happy couples to bring their ideas and desires to their ceremony.

Our team is made up of designers, artisans, carpenters, and an engineer. Together, we fabricate a mix of off the shelf and custom rustic furniture and décor for wedding and event rentals. We absolutely love the ability to pair our clients’ ideas with our creativity and capability to assemble epic events that will be remembered by guests for a lifetime. Boston Rustic Wedding Rentals is different than your local rental store. We are specific in what we offer and along with our décor being rustic, we are passionate about offering the best wedding staging in the industry.

In addition, we offer our furniture for retail at 22 Main St., Hopkinton MA, Farmhouse Furnishings by Boston Rustic. Attached to that shop is our floral shop at 24 Main St., Hopkinton, which services our wedding business and the local community!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This business is HUGELY challenging! With weddings, you have one shot and a very small window to be 100% perfect. If you disappoint a client, you don’t have another chance to get it right. Since we build all of the furniture ourselves, production timelines can also be challenging to keep us with the constant growing demand.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The will to never give up!
