Meet Fabianna Marie of Fabulously Fighting and Born of Fire Publishing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fabianna Marie.

Fabulously Fighting, LLC started as a blog by Founder and Fab-EO Fabianna Marie in an attempt to cope with her then 10 year fight with cancer.  Fabianna wanted to share her story and how she and her family have lived with cancer for more than a decade.  As she continued to blog, Fabianna started to see the positive impact her words were having on others facing adversity.

Nearly three years later, Fabianna continues to fight cancer and is now an award winning, internationally published author, the National Association of Professional Women’s Woman of the Year 2017, a national speaker, a Breast Cancer advocate and Miss Pink 2017. Fabulously Fighting, LLC is dedicated to helping others live with adversity through love, laughter and honesty and has become a social movement.

In late 2017, Fabianna created Born of Fire Publishing as a platform for author education, community outreach and to nurture an environment within the publishing world for those with stories to share. In 2018, Born of Fire’s inaugural publication will be the second edition of the award-winning book Fabulously Fighting. In late spring, Born of Fire will publish Fab’s Vegan Eats, a cook book that will simplify eating vegan. Fabianna and her team are also excited to be partnering with local photographer David West, bringing his yearlong glitter project to print.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road at all. Trying to balance taking care of herself, her health, caring for her family and being a reference and point of inspiration for others has been very challenging for Fabianna. The biggest obstacles she and her team have faced focus around the publishing world and really spurred the creation of Born of Fire Publishing. Fabianna wanted to create an entity to help educate new authors and to facilitate the publication of their stories of overcoming adversity.
