Meet Eric Bryant of Guaranty Glass and Mirror in Spencer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Bryant.

Eric, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Guaranty Glass and Mirror in Spencer, MA was founded in 1993 by my Father (Steven Bryant) and Patrick Courtney from Worcester, MA. It started as a small glass shop that mostly replaced car windows, installed shower doors, and fixed broken house windows. Since then the business has steadily grown year to year, due in part to the emphasis placed on customer satisfaction and quality of work. I started as an installer in 2004 and have become a professional glazier specializing in commercial and residential glass installation. Some of my responsibilities are managing, estimating, marketing, and filling in wherever I’m needed. My goal is to continue to grow the business, while still focusing on our core values.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I have had some struggles along the way but have able to overcome most of them. One struggle I have is trying to make all customers happy in every circumstance. Another struggle is constantly evolving the business to keep up with technology.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Our best selling products we install are commercial storefronts and windows, frameless shower doors, and windshields. What sets us apart is our dedication to customer satisfaction which is accomplished by friendly sales associates, competitive pricing, fast turn around times, and professional installations.

What were you like growing up?
As a kid I was easy going, fun loving and family oriented. When I was old enough I started working after school at the glass shop doing what I could. When I wasn’t at work or school I was playing sports or enjoying the outdoors.
