Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Brewer, Daniel Card, and Lamont Milton.

Accelerated Financial Services, LLC was founded 10 years ago this past January. It was started by Daniel Card and Lamont Milton, Eric Brewer Came on board a little over a year after opening. All three of the owners have managed in the Credit/Collections industry for years and prior to starting AFS Daniel and Lamont also worked in the Debt Settlement field.

Daniel worked in the Credit/Collections field for about 8 years prior to starting his career in the Debt Settlement industry roughly 12 years ago. Lamont worked in the Credit/Collections field for a few years then started his career in the Debt Settlement industry roughly 15 years ago, where he worked for another company and then decided to open AFS. Eric managed in the Credit/Collections field roughly 7 of the 10 years he was in that industry prior to joining AFS and starting his career in the Debt Settlement industry a little over 8 years ago. AFS Specializes in assisting consumers who are carrying approximately $10,000 or more in unsecured debt and they’re looking into a way of getting their debt paid off in a shorter time frame than what it will usually take the consumer with the way they are currently managing their finances. They have an A+ rating on the BBB

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Our industry has seen drastic changes over the past 10 years. That includes state and federal law changes as well as creditor policies. While this can be difficult at times, we have always been able to work with the changes and meet our clients’ needs while maintaining high client satisfaction and an A+ rating with the BBB.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Accelerated Financial Services story. Tell us more about the business.
Accelerated Financial Services specializes helping people to get out of debt, usually in 12-36 months. This can sometimes be done with a monthly deposit that is lower than the minimum payments the creditors are demanding. Clients here normally owe at least $10,000. We are a full-service Debt Settlement company which means we advertise to consumers who may be a good candidate for our program(s), discuss their situation to see if they qualify and we work with their creditors to get them out of debt in a much shorter time frame than what it will take them to pay their debt off on their own. We are most proud of helping thousands of consumers get their financial situation back on track and the fact that we have always been able to maintain a great reputation with an A+ rating.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I think luck plays a bigger role than most people realize.

In simplest form, luck determines how quickly you can get the results that you are working for.

With bad luck you have difficulties to overcome; you have to spend more time finding good employees, good sources for clients and developing relationships with creditors and collectors.

With good luck you have opportunities that you have to take advantage of because things can fall into place quickly and without a lot of effort.

That’s why it makes sense for a consumer to work with a company that has been in business more than 10 years.

Companies like us have either capitalized on good luck or persevered through some bad.
