Meet Eli Mook of Hundo Life

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eli Mook.

Eli, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Hundo Life is a Brand based out of Boston, MA. Hundo life offers a wide range of services mainly focusing on clothing, music, events, and promotion. Back in 2010, we realized Hundo was our way of “Keeping It Real At All Times.” In 2013, Hundo life started hosting yearly summer events such as basketball tournaments and leagues to help raise money for the community.

In the summer of 2015, we saw the growth potential of our brand and believed that we could create a new movement. From then on, we started to design and sell shirts, we have held over 3 basketball tournaments, we have organized events for the children in our community and have supported local talent and brands throughout Boston.

Now in 2017, we have created new designs where people can express themselves through their style. We plan on having showcases where our Hundo Music group will be playing and also inviting other local artists to showcase their talents, among many more creative ideas we have in the works.

We look forward to showing you all our new designs!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being a small business. A local business at that, consistency can be stuff. Not everyone is going to like every idea either. Those struggles can bring you down but it is all keeping the brand growing.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Hundo Life – what should we know?
We proud ourselves on representing yourself, living life 100%, and keeping it real at all times. Anyone who is doing this every day is living their Hundo Life. Hundo Life is your lifestyle so to say we specialize in one area would be wrong. Creating clothes were people can show who they are is our goal!

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I have had many mentors from coaches, teachers, community workers and more. They have all taught me to think openly about situations that have encountered over my journey. What I would always remember from all of my mentors are motivation and consistency! Those are two things I will proud myself on.
