Meet Donte Fountain of Capture 4ONE2 Media in Mattapan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Donte Fountain.

Donte, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve always been fascinated with cameras and taking pictures even at a young age, however it wasn’t until I took pictures at my cousin’s Brettney & Shadi’s wedding that I discovered photography was my passion.

I later then bought my first Nikon DSLR camera and with the help of my friend and colleague Nemline, Capture 412 Media was created. With the support of my family and friends, I’ve been able to nurture my talents and brand.

I plan on growing my brand into a powerhouse for all things media in hopes of one day being able to take care of my family and do great things in the world.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road to building Capture 412 hasn’t been an easy one. I’ve had to face insecurities being a new photographer and the lack of support I felt I was getting from family and friends via social media.

Constantly I would feel as though my work and efforts would fall on deaf ears which made me question if me pursuing photography was the right move. Talks with my eldest sister DaLisa, mom Kimberlee, and brother Kyle helped reassure me that my hard work and talent was something that was undeniable and wouldn’t go unnoticed.

This gave me everything I needed to continue my path of following my dreams and passion of pursuing Capture and for that, I am forever grateful.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Capture 4ONE2 Media – what should we know?
Capture 412 Media is a multimedia brand focusing but not limited to photography and have dreams of one day being a one-stop shop for all things entertainment, a sort of “King of all media”.

I have an amazing team (Team Capture) that are filled with amazing people such as Danni Parker who is both my business partner and the host of “Cut From A Different Cloth”, Donesha (my sister and assistant), Breyanna (my sister and videographer) and Sharee (my cousin and videographer/editor).

I’m not only proud but honored to have such amazing people beside me. I feel what sets us apart from others is our ambition and drive. We are all fighting for both a better future and our dreams which motivates us to work tirelessly at building the brand.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I would love to thank everyone who has been apart of this amazing journey from family and friends for their support, my boys Rich and Eli for all the advice and guidance with photography, and clients for trusting me with capturing their special moments! The love and support truly means the world
