Meet Desmond Bellot of DOLO CLOTHING

Today we’d like to introduce you to Desmond Bellot.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Desmond. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Dolo is a small word with tremendous substance. We define “Dolo” as the courage to be yourself, to be self-empowered to chase your dreams and having the confidence to stand alone. To be Dolo means having the courage to be different, to go against the grain and embrace your individuality. Dolo Clothing Co., by definition, is a lifestyle brand with a voice.

The word Dolo has been part of the street culture long before becoming a fashion company. We seek to inspire a positive movement that promotes and encourages self-empowerment and consciousness. Dolo Clothing Company represents having an acceptance of your own style, having your own voice and those who strive to be themselves above all others.

In highlight, we have recently launched our first electronics, “Dolo Audio”. As we say here at Dolo… Be yourself… Everyone else is already taken. The new cool is you!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Every successful story always hit challenges. Trust and loyalty is very important. Rather it is with your in-house team or manufacturer who is distributing your products. These ingredients are extremely essential.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the DOLO CLOTHING CO story. Tell us more about the business.
“Dolo” is originally an urban slang that has been in the street culture for decades. We were lucky enough to trademark our brand name years ago. We manufacturer apparel and electronics through Dolo Clothing Co. and Dolo Audio. What sets us apart is our strong focus of self-empowerment, belief, and consciousness.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Luck is a matter of being prepared prior to a blessing occurring. Most important don’t chase people, trust the process of your journey.
