Meet Crista Sciortino of CRISTA LOVES

Today we’d like to introduce you to Crista Sciortino.

Crista, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
As a young girl I quickly found comfort and happiness in fashion magazines (yes I’m old this is pre-internet, people had to buy magazines), I would scan through as many and read articles about any designer I could get my hands on. That place of comfort quickly developed into a passion, I wanted to bring to others the same joy and inspiration I felt while breezing through magazines. Ultimately, that led to a nine-year career in retail, I specialized in visual work anything from dressing mannequins to store installations and I can honestly say I loved it!

As social media began to grow and develop and was no longer a fad but most definitely a permanent part of modern culture, I figured it’d be great if I could reach more people through platforms such as Instagram. The rest is history in the making, when I initially launched my IG I got a lot of overwhelming positive feedback which keeps the fuel going.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Like anything else there is never a smooth road, there have been plenty of hills and valleys but overall the experience has been priceless. The list of struggles can honestly be a book long, but just to name a few:
– creating and collecting content
-understanding my audience & what drives reactions
-staying consistent and true to my personal brand

It’s a constant battle but as long as I continue to provide quality work and stay authentic to what sparked my passion I’m confident my audience will continue to grow.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the CRISTA LOVES (influencer) story. Tell us more about the business. is a project I took on in 2015, I wanted to showcase my personal style with anyone willing to listen. Currently, my main focus is Instagram and that’s only because by nature it has the largest amount of traffic and provides the greatest number of views. Some of my most recent accomplishments have been collaborating with companies such as Athleta, Primark & FAB Beauty. All of which are household names, to know that they trust me to provide them with quality content keeps me driven and focused on my goals.

I am 100% CRISTA LOVES, I’m a passionate, driven individual which I believe is expressed through my content. I’ve combined my love for fashion & fitness into my personal brand. I strive to be no one else but the best version of myself, which is the message I try to get across to my audience.
