Meet Dr. Joe Rubino of CenterForPersonalReinvention.com

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Joe Rubino.

Like many, after 15 years in practice, Dr. Joe Rubino found himself trapped in a profession that was no longer fulfilling for him. Although his dental practice was financially rewarding (his practice grossed about $1 million yearly), there was much missing that had him become resigned to a life whereby his profession no longer was a passion but an obligation. But then, through a year-long course in personal development, Joe discovered what it was costing him to live in apathy and resignation.

He declared his life purpose to be a champion of people to be their best. He decided to reinvent himself to become a life-impacting coach and mentor committed to supporting others to lead their best lives. For the next 9 years, Joe became a student of personal development. He immersed himself into a rigorous personal development program and reinvented himself to transform from being an extreme introvert to since becoming known as a life-changing author, speaker, and coach.

Joe’s transformation resulted from a change in focus from himself and his “petty concerns” to shifting to a commitment to champion the lives of others. As a result of Joe’s commitment to make a difference in the lives of others to achieve success and realize his vision to impact the lives of at least 20 million people by the year 2021, he has written 10 life-changing books that are best-sellers in 23 languages and in 58 countries.

His company, The CenterForPersonalReinvention.com has created 7 Certified Coaching Courses whereby Dr. Joe teaches the exact same principles he used to transform his own life and the lives of millions of others to date. His company certifies life coaches, self-esteem elevation coaches for children and adults, self-confidence coaches, relationship coaches, abundance coaches and business coaches.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Dr. Joe’s biggest struggle was having the courage to reinvent himself. Like many of us, he had developed an identity as a shy, introverted and resigned person who lacked belief in himself and in his ability to change his life. He was not in touch with his gifts (believing he had none), was told by the few friends he had that he couldn’t lead three people in silent prayer, and expected his future to reflect the same level of resignation that his past had displayed. In reinventing himself, he had to manage his negative self-talk, complete and heal his painful past, and develop an empowering vision for a new and bright future lived as a courageous declaration of the qualities he wished to be known for (rather than based on past evidence that resulted in his apathy and resignation.)

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the CenterForPersonalReinvention.com story. Tell us more about the business.
My company, CenterForPersonalReinvention.com champions people to live their best lives. I am known particularly for my ground-breaking work in self-esteem elevation for both adults and children. The life-transforming programs we have developed have already impacted the lives of more than 2 million adults and 2 million children. Our coaching certification programs enable us to duplicate our efforts and teach the same principles that I have personally taught to others to those who wish to become certified as self-esteem elevation coaches for children or adults, life optimization coaches, relationship coaches, self-confidence coaches and abundance coaches. This allows us to empower others to duplicate our efforts to reach more people – while helping me realize my goal of impacting the lives of 20 million children and 20 million adults by the year 2021.

The life-changing principles and exercises we teach are the result of both learning from some of the world’s foremost experts in personal development as well as from actual research and experience in coaching and speaking to thousands and thousands of clients.

My 3 personal development fables, “The Magic Lantern: A Fable about Leadership, Personal Excellence and Empowerment,” “The Legend of the Light-Bearers: A Fable about Personal Reinvention and Global Transformation,” and “The Seven Blessings: A Fable about the Secrets to Living Your Best Life” are currently in the fund raising stage for development as a feature film trilogy.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I am a firm believer that we all create our own luck by having a positive expectation for a successful, fulfilled and happy future. When we see our future as inevitably so bright that we are empowered to step into it, we generate the self-motivation needed to bring about such a future as a self-fulfilling prophesy. The opposite is true as well. When we expect to fail, suffer and struggle, we self-sabotage and get to be right about our self-doubts manifesting into reality. Sadly, most people live somewhere between these two extremes, believing that their future will be a reflection of what they have achieved in the past in terms of success, happiness, fulfillment, relationships, and achieving or failing to achieve their dreams and desires. They establish and identity that says…this is the sort of life I have had and can expect to have in the future. They then create that expectation as a self-fulfilling prophesy. We all have endless opportunities appearing for us to either recognize and step into daily – or go unnoticed and unrealized due to a lack of awareness. This separates those who produce their own luck from the victims who blame others for their state in life and complain that they lack luck.
