Meet Brittany Westerman of Grace Riley Aesthetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Westerman.

Brittany, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Grace Riley Aesthetics started out as a pipe dream. Beauty and nursing are two of my favorite loves, and to be able to combine them is a dream come true. A dream that would not have come to fruition without my family’s help, or the constant support of both family and friends encouraging me along in this process. In a way, Grace Riley Aesthetics makes me feel a little bit like being an artist but instead of paper, my canvas is your face!

After pursuing the required formal training, and networking with local doctors, everything seemed to fall into place. I found a perfect little spot in a renovated old mill in Worcester, MA. It has the perfect amount of charm, character, and glamour I was looking for. And now I can add businesswoman and GIRL BOSS to my resume! Thanks to my experience as a nurse practitioner, I am in a unique position to be able to provide services to clients in a relaxing, calm, inviting atmosphere outside of a formal medical practice. The services I provide often seem trivial to plastic surgeons, and they’re not usually available at your typical salons or spas. Combining my nursing background and caring demeanor with a pleasant aesthetic decor allows people to feel at ease and confident in my abilities as a practitioner.

I think everyone has felt insecure about the way they look at some point in time. As a mother, and as a woman, I can relate because I am definitely not free from insecurities. And I am definitely not getting any younger. I really wanted to help people feel better about themselves and know that these services are available to just about anyone. They’re not just for the rich and famous anymore. It is rewarding to feel I’ve made a difference in a person’s life. That’s very important to me.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
So far, so good. This business is fairly new, and it is still in the beginning phases. I anticipate many trials and tribulations throughout this process. But I expect to take them in stride and learn from every challenge I face.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Grace Riley Aesthetics – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Our goal at Grace Riley Aesthetics is to help you age gracefully. I provide medical aesthetic procedures to clients looking to prevent the signs and symptoms of aging, enhance their features, or help to correct flaws that make them feel insecure. I offer a wide variety of procedures that include –but are not limited to – wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, plasma rich protein for hair loss and rejuvenation, laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, skin resurfacing, anti-aging treatments, cellulite reduction/body contouring, acne treatments, and chemical peels. I am a firm believer of patient-centered care, and I take the time to listen to my clients’ concerns. It is important to me that clients leave feeling better about themselves.

I am most proud to be able to have this company and get it up and running. It is not easy balancing work, life, family and a new business. It is more than a humbling experience.

Grace Riley is owned and operated by a nurse practitioner, which sets it apart from plastic surgeons and even other doctors or dentists offices offering similar services. This work requires finesse, and I want to give clients a glamorous experience, but also make sure they have confidence in my medical abilities. By the way, medical consults are provided on an as-needed basis with a collaborating physician.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
As I grow and build a bigger clientele look for Grace Riley’s to expand! We are now offering plasma rich protein for skin rejuvenation and hair loss. This procedure offers amazing results and is a great alternative to dermal fillers or can be used in conjunction with fillers. I am also offering cryotherapy for skin tags, age spots, cherry angiomas and liver spots.
