Meet Amanda Tracy and Lynette De Innocentis of Advanced Health & Wellness in Andover

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Tracy and Lynette De Innocentis.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Dr. Amanda Tracy, ND: After graduating from Bastyr University naturopathic medical program in Seattle, WA, I really wanted to return to my home state of Massachusetts to start my practice and I was lucky to join Advanced Health & Wellness in 2006. I was attracted to working in a co-operative environment that included other healing modalities such as chiropractic, reflexology and massage therapy.

Because there aren’t many Naturopathic Doctors in Massachusetts, I have learned my instinct was correct – I find the support network from the other practitioners in the clinic to be invaluable. Over the past 11 years, I have been able to grow my holistic medical practice to focus on women’s health and autoimmune conditions, I created the Whole Health Cleanse and Whole Health Goddess Detox programs and I was empowered to become a co-owner of Advanced Health & Wellness in 2016.

Lynette De Innocentis: I joined Advanced Health & Wellness in 2006 as a licensed Massage Therapist and my training and my experience has expanded over the last 20 years to include a BS in Psychology and certificates in Wellness and Healing Arts, Integrated Alternative Psychology, Reiki Master, and Reflexology. I also have extensive training and practice in yoga and meditation.

Dr. Amanda Tracy and I have worked together as practitioners since 2006 and we had the opportunity to Co-partner purchasing Advanced health & Wellness in 2016.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Dr. Amanda Tracy, ND: The path of Advanced Health & Wellness hasn’t always been a smooth road. The founder of Advanced Health & Wellness retired in 2014, prompting a relocation to Andover center. The relocation has been a blessing – we have stronger ties to the Andover community, have welcomed more massage therapists and a second Naturopathic Doctor to our team and have seen business increase by over 25% in the past two years.

Lynette De Innocentis: It has been an excellent, positive experience. We have both worked very hard to hone our respective skills and practice, while also cultivating a supportive and enriching community.

The biggest struggle for me was moving our business location.

Advanced Health & Wellness – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Dr. Amanda Tracy, ND: Advanced Health & Wellness offers Natural Medicine, Massage, Reflexology, Infrared Sauna and medically supervised cleanse and detox programs. We are set apart by our team of highly qualified practitioners that is dedicated to improving lives by blending clinical expertise with wisdom and compassion. Some of the proudest moments we’ve had at Advanced Health & Wellness is when patients entrust us with the care of their loved ones- children, parents, spouses.

Seeing our patients thrive through the years and watching their families grow really is inspiring and motivates us to create the best wellness clinic we can.

Lynette De Innocentis: My particular specialty, what I am best known for, what sets me apart from others and also what I am most proud of is my training and practice as an Integrated Alternative Therapist. A session with me is usually quite different than a typical massage session.

I use many different modalities to best serve the individual needs of my clients. A session with me will mostly likely include talk therapy, massage, reflexology, meditation and reiki.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Dr. Amanda Tracy, ND: In my naturopathic practice, I am most proud of creating the Whole Health Goddess program to not only support women with weight loss and detoxification, but also serve as a complete women’s health and hormone balancing class with information they can use for the rest of their lives. Most people seek a doctor’s expertise when they are unwell and often during office visits, I don’t have the time to share the wealth of knowledge needed to prevent disease. The Whole Health Detox program gives me the platform to share this information which can be vital in preventing breast cancer, heart disease, and dementia.

  • Initial Naturopathic Consultation is $250

  • Whole Health Goddess Cleanse $350
