Meet Aimee Soles of Aimee Nicole Esthetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aimee Soles.

Aimee, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My love for skin care originated while working as a makeup artist. I became a licensed esthetician in 2004 and began my journey of the industry from day spa to medi spa. In 2011, Aimee Nicole Esthetics went from a dream to a reality. I started the business in one cozy room of a massage practice. Being alongside other wellness practitioners and like minded individuals was the perfect fit. The business quickly grew and I found a new beautiful space to accommodate the increasing clientele. The thriving business now has three treatment rooms and we continue to expand the services we offer based on the ever changing esthetics industry. My passion has inspired me to create techniques of my own, the Warm Stone Facial and the Love Your Skin Facial. I enjoy mentoring and passing along this knowledge to other estheticians as well. Having a strong belief in continuing education, I like to consistently takes classes to further my knowledge of esthetics and be able to offer the best to my clients.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has been an amazing journey and continue to look forward to the future of the business. I am so blessed to be able to go to work every day and truly love what I do.

Challenges in business are what make you grow as an individual and prepare you for the next step as a leader. The spirit of who you are and drive as a person are what get you through those obstacles. The hardest part so far was to find a home for the business. I wanted it to be a perfect space to offer to my clients. Ambiance is extremely important when you are trying to have the spa be an oasis from the outside world and staying close to the original location was important as well. I eventually went from my cozy one room existence to a beautiful, private three room spa. Some other struggles as a practitioner and business owner are balancing the tasks of being both. I enjoy my time working with my clients but also have had to be sure I schedule in the time for the business side of it as well. Learning more effective time management skills have been key to the balance.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Aimee Nicole Esthetics offers a wide variety of facials, peels, body treatments, full body waxing, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, lash extensions, lash lift, reiki and soon to be adding in massage therapy. We specialize in making every guest feel better when they leave the spa than when they arrived. We are known for customizing every facial to the client’s specific skin care needs. I am extremely happy to have been able to develop unique treatment techniques that help to promote full body tranquility. So many people are over stressed and over worked. To be able to leave that at the door when you arrive, to fully check out and destress is one of the things we pride ourselves in. I also love to volunteer my time by having an oncology service that offers a free soothing facial to patients going through cancer treatment.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
This is the perfect place to start a business like this. There are many people looking for above the bar service and as long as the passion for the business exists, the business will thrive. Being able and willing to grow as a person along with the business will only result in success.
