Art & Life with David Minehan

Today we’d like to introduce you to David Minehan.

David, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
Massachusetts Boy 30 miles out of Boston feels something simmering inside and knows that the rural countryside isn’t going provide to devil’s workshop needed to manifest the impure thoughts and impulses taking over
Boston 1979 here I Come

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
What’s an Artist? Who dares call themselves an Artist? And oh what hubris to feel entitled a career as an artist!
Artist = Pretense,Arrogance,Self-Obsession. But what are colors, melodies, words, images, figures, flavors ?
They are interpreter’s tools. But If the world is speaking a language you can’t decipher enough to make sense on, then reach for the tools to relate the world unto yourself and unto the kindreds out there suffering alienation as well.

Words and Music are my tools, there are atomic fusion powerful. I have attempted to harness their power for many years as a sole medium to speak from the heart and shoot for the soul. Now along with such expressionism I am in the role of music midwifery in commanding production and engineering skills at my Woolly Mammoth Sound Studios I can think of songs as plays onstage that require good lighting, casting, acoustics, stage set design and directing to win the listener completely over. So the skill set seems ever evolving. Musician, Songwriter, Singer, Arranger, Producer, Engineer, Humanitarian

Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
Be Yourself above Everything Else

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
As I am a terrible self-promoter I seem to have allowed everything I’ve worked on or accomplished to be “out there” in the great historical ether (cyber field) ..so search engines will be the key for forensic investigations
