An Artistic Voyage: exploring local creative and artistic works

Raw, unfiltered creative expression – from stories and photographs to illustrations and paintings – is at the heart of the BostonVoyager.    In the coming weeks you’ll find in-depth conversations with many of the artists and creatives we’ve been introduced to lately, but below you’ll find a sneak peak of some of the art and artists that we’ve been most excited about recently.

We're finishing out the FINAL LEG OF THE TOUR! Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Albany, and Asheville! Let's LINK UP and CREATE together! Regardless on if your coming to the class or not! Shoot me a DM for event links! – – I will never have the right words for how much LOVE I have for everyone I have connected with these past two years. Touring full time has taught me MORE lessons than I could have ever imagined! There is ALOT more work that goes behind the scenes of what you see on social media, and it's not as glamorous as you would imagine. Being on tour has pushed me away from establishing a foundation for Myself, it's been extremely difficult to build relationships with both friends and family, and I have become filled with a lot of self doubt. It comes in waves, but I speak of TRANSPARENCY in my classes, which is why I want..no..NEED to express the stress! This is a 24 hour job for me. I have literally put my entire being into my work, to the point where I have come to the realization that it's time for me to take a step back and get re-acquainted with MYSELF. Social media is an incredible source for inspiration, but I feel we as a community are kind of getting lost because we lack ORGANIC CONNECTION. With ALL of that being said, I plan on taking a break both from touring AND the online hoop world. I've spoken about this in class, and It's now time for me to get back to my roots and practice what I preach! I am SO ready for this next chapter! This post ALONE feels like a giant weight off the chest, mostly because I'm afraid to truly express myself on here with so much work happening right now! To those who message and comment me- I HEAR you. I LOVE you. I THANK you! ❤️❤️🙏🙏❤️❤️ – – Excited to PLAY with everyone so soon! Until then..here’s some hooping- it’s hard for me to get filming in between travels and classes..which is why I’ve decided to use this video for my submission for the #7deadlyflows presented by the creative and talented @mschott21 🙏❤️⭕️❤️🙏 – – – #propdanceculture #sytycd #hooplah #hoopspam #hoopersofig #hulahoop #infinitecircles #itsyournola #followyournola

Wonderful ! I am glad you do it. May I ask how do you select artists to be featured? I am a full time artist from Boston Area myself so I am interested id there is an opportunity to be featured as well.
